OnDeck Softball Training and Development is founded by Brittney Bruzek. This organization is here to teach, grow and develop athletes in the sport of Softball.

Hello! My name is Brittney Bruzek, I am a 2006 Graduate of Alexandria H.S where I was very involved in softball and hockey. I went on to play Collegiate Softball as a Catcher at University of St. Thomas and graduated from University of Augsburg with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. I have coached a few years at the collegiate level as well as the High School level. I am a Regionally and Nationally known Club Ball Coach and have been involved with top club ball teams out of the Twin Cities for the past 16 years.

Growing up in Alexandria there weren't any opportunities to train year round or have a team to play competitively with during the summer. My mom Trish Bruzek, saw this and realized how many young girls much like her daughter, weren't getting what they needed in the fastpitch game. So, she started a program here in Alexandria from 2000-2006 where she gave myself and many other young girls the opportunity to COMPETE and play what we loved. What she did was OPEN huge doors for me. I eventually was picked up to play with a few club ball teams out of the cities and was given the opportunity to compete across the country.... All because she wanted to give us an OPPORTUNITY. Doors opened and I found myself on my way to play for a phenomenal mentor in the game at University of St. Thomas with Coach Tschida. I learned that not only did I have impact on field but off the field, the postitive impact I had on others. He opened another door of opportunity to the world of HIGH LEVEL COACHING... The rest is history. I have had the priveledge of coaching with many great mentors of the game at Minnesota Fastpitch Academy along with many College Coaches over the years. Along with many other impactful people I have been blessed to meet and work with along the way.

I have put on many College Showcases, Tournaments, Camps, Clinics, Coaches Seminars, travel and coach across the country and have been a Recruiting Coordinator for many years. With OnDeck Training and Development, I want to give these opportunities and the passion for this game to athletes in Alexandria and Greater Alexandria Area.

I am Planting my Roots HERE in Alexandria.

I have helped develop, train and grow many athletes in the mental game, emotional game and the physical piece of the game. To me the game is on and off the field, Train young women to be great athletes but even better people. With moving back to the Alexandria, MN area , I want to give younger athletes the opportunity to grow, develop and take their game to the next level. Most importantly I want to share the love, enthusiasm and Passion I have for the game of Softball to the younger generations.

I am beyond EXCITED to work with the up and coming generations!

Private Lessons, Monthly Clinics and Camps

Hitting, Defense, Catching, Pitching and Slapping Clinics will be offered. As well as One Day Camps, 2 Day Camps and Summer Camps to be offered. Private Lessons and small group trainings are available upon request.

"My name is Emma Collins and I was lucky enough to play on Britt's team for 2 years. In my first year being coached by Britt I had a pretty rough start to the season. The game just seemed like it was moving too fast for me to catch up. Myu hitting wasn't going well and I even hoped the pitchers would walk me. All together my confidence, at least in hitting, was at an all time low. Yet, Britt kept me in the line-up through the whole season.
